8. Internal Audit Report 2009/10 – to receive the report of the auditor Mr B Howard and agree to action the points raised in the report
9. External Audit 2009/10
a) To receive the report of the external auditors (BDO LLP)
b) To receive the external auditors certificate and opinion and to approve and accept the Annual Return for 2009/10
10. Planning
To consider the weekly list of planning applications, to note any decisions made and any other planning matters brought to the notice of the Parish Council
11. Rufford Household Waste Recycling Centre – To receive the response from The Chief Executive, Lancashire County Council in response to Tarleton Parish Councils views. To resolve what action, if any, the Council will now take
12. On-Street Recycling Facilities – to resolve the view of the Council about the preferred location for the positioning of an on-street recycling unit
13. Mere Brow Resource Centre (MBRC) “Growing Initiative” – to resolve to formally support, in writing, the MBRC application for grant from the Local Food lottery funding to finance their “Growing Initiative” project
14. Charity Textile Recycling Bank – to resolve whether to give permission for the permanent siting of a charity textile bank at the Church Road car park. If permission is granted the Council is invited to decided what cause the money generated is allocated to
15. Cross Roads Care (West Lancashire)– to resolve whether to donate to Cross Roads Care West Lancashire who are a registered charity that provide a respite care service to families that live in West Lancashire
16. Consultation on proposal to charge entitled pupils a contribution towards the cost of denominational transport – to resolve the view of the Council to the proposed change to transport policy
17. Correspondence – to note the enclosed appendix of items. Details of which will be available at the meeting for Councillors and members of the public
18. To confirm the date and location of the next meeting scheduled for Monday 11 October 2010 at 7.30pm at the Pavilion, Carr Lane.
